"Got News?"

Welcome to our website! Each month the G/T class writes and publishes a newspaper for our school. Everyone in G/T from first grade to fifth grade writes an article--stories, facts, puzzles, etc. Sometimes even kids that aren't in G/T write for it.

But we have to have money for the newspaper. That's why on August 27, 2003, the whole fifth grade G/T class went with some of the parents all around town and sold ads. It was a blast! We got into partners and sold two different kinds of ads. One was $42 and the other was $21 for a year. After that, we got to eat lunch wherever we wanted!

Another fun activity that we got to do was go to the Brownwood Bulletin, where we print our newspapers. We went on September 27, 2003, and saw our first newspaper printed. We got a tour of the building, and then we went to eat lunch at Mr. Gatti's.

So far, this has been a fun schoolyear in G/T. Check out all of our newspapers dating back to September this year.
