Fourth Grade Pilot Program

The Comanche Intermediate was selected by the state to be a part of the Fourth Grade Performance Standards Pilot Project for 2002-2003. We did the unit "Math Around Town".

We read Math Curse by Jon Scieszka and then created our own version of the story.

For one project we had to figure out where the pizza was the best deal before we could have our own pizza party.

Then we chose someone to interview to find out how they used math in their job. We dressed up as that person, and we had a panel disscussion.
