Hardin was born in Bonham,Fannin Country on the 26th of May, 1853.
His father was a Methodist preacher and a circuit rider. His name
was J.G. Hardin. His mom was highly cultured and kind. His dad
moved to Moscow Polk country while he and his brother studied
law. Later Hardin killed a black kid, a deputy, and some armed
soldiers.
