The Murder of Ted Durham

I interviewed a retired teacher named June Schuman. She told me the story how Ted Durham got murdered. Where the bingo is now in the 70's it was a drug store called The Durham's. One night Ted was working late and two men were looking for drugs They were going to rob the store, but Ted Durham was working late so they decided to kill him. One of the men had a knife and cut his throat and he bled to death. There was a huge trial and at the trial there was big crowd. Many people in the crowd were threatening to lynch him. When they came out of the room they would want to know if he was guilty or not. If he was not guilty than they would put matters in their own hands. I think that he is still in jail now unless he died.

The store in the middle is Durham's Pharmacy. Durham's Pharmacy is the place where Ted Durham got murdered.
