COTTON GIN
R. J. M. 5TH
I interviewed my dad Richard Martinez. He has been living here since 1963. He was born in 1956 in Rose Bud, Texas. When he was seven his family and him moved to Comanche, Texas. They lived across the railroad tracks across from a Cotton Gin. My grandpa worked there. When my dad would bring my grandpa lunch, my grandpa would give him the grand tour. My dad said that they got paid $1.25 per day. He said that it was owned by Herman Rhinhut.
