Slain By Indians By Meghan F. In 1857 a farmer by the name of Ed Foreman, lived in Comanche County in the North Leon River bottom, six miles from Cora. He came to town one evening after some coffee and when he started back home afoot he was attacked by a body of Indians, who killed,and scalped him. From the signs of horse tracks it was believed there were about 15 Indians in the bunch. |
