Wilson School was made in modern brick. This
community was located just inside Comanche County between Sidney
and May.At one time there was a church and a school located at
Zourrette. This church was a Missionary Baptist Church that sat
on a hill,1 mile east of Wilson which was burned in 1925,and never
rebuilt. This church was reorganized in 1929,and has met until
the present time in the school building.Since 1925, 25 houses
have been burned down, torn up, or moved away.Wilson is now the
home of the famous Madison Square Garden Rodeo Stock.
