with Brenda Marshall

by:Mandie J. 4th grade
I interviewed Brenda Marshall and she has worked at the courthouse for 24 years and it will be 25 in May. She started out being secretary for Adult Probation. She has moved through six different offices. The main change is the name. It changed from the Adult Probation Commission to Texas Department of Criminal Justice-Community Justice Assistance Division in 1986. Brenda is the second person who has worked there. Brenda has gone through three judges. Their names are Judge Campbell, Judge Wilson, and Judge Morgan. She does paper work, budget, and personnel. The commissioners court runs the courthouse. Judge Morgan is Brenda's boss.
