Old Cora
Old Cora originally
sat on my grandmother's property on the banks of the South Leon
River. It was moved to Comanche from Lake Eanes in 1939, and then
was moved to the Square in Comanche where it still stands. In
the early days Old Cora had 136 inhabitants and they included
a House Carpenter, a Wagon Maker, two Wagoneers, 3 Merchants,
a Miller, a Steam Mill, and a Black- Smith.
