Jack built Western hills Nursing Home in 1963. He realized that people might not have a good place to stay when they got older. So he thought it would be nice to have a nursing home. He began with some plans. When the nursing home was first built it had forty rooms. Jack sold the nursing home in 1973.

The nursing home has helped many families through the years. We owe Mr.Wheat a debt of gratitude.

Jack has been a Member of the Masonic Lodge for 62 years. He has been a member of the Baptist church for 45 years.He is a well respected citizen in our community.
